WE ARE CONSUMED BY HIS WONDER, CALLED FOR HIS PURPOSE AND CAPTURED BY HIS PRESENCE
To be made whole, or to be saved, is to submit to God and His plan and purpose for our lives. It is a turning from our old ways and turning toward Jesus, to ask Him for forgiveness from our sins and to give us new life in Him.
John 3:16 “For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.”
Salvation is God’s free gift to us and we become His children.It is an empowerment to live life wholly and fully with the purpose of reflecting God to the rest of His creation.
If you are not sure whether you are right with God or you know in fact that you need Jesus in your life, you can choose to follow Him right now by praying a prayer of surrender to Jesus. Romans 10:9 says: “For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation.”
Below is a simple prayer that you can pray. If you believe it and speak it then the bible encourages us with these words “Everyone who believes in him will never be disappointed.” (Romans 10:11b)
Prayer
Dear Jesus,
Have mercy on me, because of Your unfailing love. Forgive me from my sin and create in me a clean heart.
You are Lord and I believe that God raised You from the dead. By believing in my heart, I am made right with God, and by my faith spoken, I am saved.
I thank You for Your Holy Spirit and that I am born again. I commit to following You the rest of my life.
